The Danish Club of Houston provides a forum for Danes, Danish Americans, and others with Danish interests to share in the language, traditions, and customs of Denmark and to celebrate their Danish heritage. The Club initiates several events throughout the year in coordination with the Royal Danish Consulate, and the Danish American Chamber of Commerce Southwest,. We also maintain contact with Danish organizations on a nation-wide basis, including the Danish Embassy, The Danish Immigrant Museum, and the Danish American newspapers “Den Danske Pioneer” and “Bien”, to name a few.
Membership to the Danish Club of Houston costs only $50 per year per family. As a member of the Danish Club of Houston you will be eligible to take advantage of a number of benefits. All members will receive the Club's newsletter and invitations to all Club sponsored events. When possible, members will receive a discounted price to Club activities. Members will also be kept informed of the activities of other local Danish and Scandinavian organizations, including Vikingeskolen, the Danish American Chamber of Commerce Southwest, mother's groups, and the Young Danes Network.
Members of the Club will have exclusive access to the Member Area on the Club's website, in which they will find our membership list and other privileged information. It should be noted that by joining the Club and agreeing to our website usage “Terms and Conditions”, members agree that they will respect their fellow members' confidentiality and not distribute the membership list in part or its entirety for any reason. Furthermore, the membership list is not to be used for advertising or solicitation purposes by any party.
