Galveston Beach Day – DCH Members Only Event!

Carl & Frances Steffensen have graciously offered to host a beach day for Club members at their Galveston home in the Sea Isle subdivision on
September 8th from 12:00 noon until 6:00 PM.
Their canal home is 16 miles south of 61st street (if you pass the Isla del Sol water tower you've gone too far!) and it's a short walk to the beach from their house. They have a stand-up paddleboard, kayaks, badminton, and a boat which can seat up to 10 people for rides around the canals.
PLEASE NOTE: THE PROPERTY IS COMPLETELY FENCED, SO SAFE FOR CHILDREN!
The Club will provide hamburgers and hot dogs with all the condiments - please bring any beverages that you would like to drink. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be served at 1:00PM. We look forward to seeing you there and kicking off our 2024-2025 season!
Please RSVP by September 3rd with number of adults and children plus the side dish or dessert you will bring (indicate in the "Dish to share" field).
Please remember to bring any floats, chairs, towels, sunscreen, bug spray, or toys you'll want to use - you can swim in the canal or at the beach!
